Ownership and funding

Who owns Worthbury, and how it is paid for.

It is fair to want to know who is behind a publication and how it earns its money. This page answers both, and sets out the line we keep between the two and what we publish.

Who owns Worthbury

Worthbury is owned and published by mOOnshot digital LLC, an independent company founded by Florine Eppe Beauloye and Simon Beauloye. The same company owns and operates Luxe Digital and Luxa Terra. No media group, luxury house, investor or advertiser holds a stake in Worthbury or a say in what it covers. The people behind it are listed on the about page.

How Worthbury makes money

Worthbury is funded by paid membership. A member pays to apply for a profile in the directory. That payment covers an editorial review and, if the profile is approved, its publication and upkeep. The tiers and prices are on the membership page. Worthbury carries no advertising and earns no commission on anything it writes about.

Membership and the magazine

Membership buys a place in the directory. It does not buy coverage in the magazine, a mention in the Briefing, or the verified seal. Our editors decide what Worthbury publishes, and a member is treated as a subject like any other. Member profiles are always labelled as member profiles. The full rules are on the editorial standards page.

Agencies

Agencies and communications teams can apply on behalf of the people they represent. The review is the same, the price is the same, and the profile belongs to the member. See Worthbury for agencies.
