Privacy Policy
Last updated 4 July 2026
This policy explains what personal data Worthbury collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Worthbury website (https://worthbury.com/) and our services.
Who we are
Our website address is https://worthbury.com.
Worthbury is operated by mOOnshot digital LLC, the company that owns and runs worthbury.com and is the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy. If you have any questions about how we handle your data, you can reach us at legal@worthbury.com.
Profile information you submit
When you apply for a Worthbury profile, we collect the information you provide — such as your name, role, company, biography, links and any photograph you supply — so we can review it and, if approved, publish your profile. You choose how much or how little to submit, and you can edit or remove your profile information at any time. If you upload a photograph, please avoid images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS), as that data can travel with the file.
Cookies
Worthbury sets two strictly-necessary cookies for the site to function, and Google Analytics sets its own cookies to measure usage (see Analytics below). We do not sell your data.
- wb_session — keeps you signed in after you log in via a magic link. It is removed when you sign out.
- wb_ui — remembers interface preferences, such as your light or dark theme choice.
- Google Analytics cookies (for example
_ga) — set by Google to distinguish users and measure how the site is used.
Accounts and sign-in
Accounts use passwordless, magic-link sign-in: you enter your email address and we send you a one-time link. We do not store passwords. For members who register, we store the personal information provided in your profile. You can view, edit or delete your personal information at any time; Worthbury administrators can also view and edit that information as part of running the directory.
Analytics
We use two analytics tools to understand how the site is used. Google Analytics (gtag.js) helps us measure traffic and usage patterns; it sets cookies and is provided by Google, whose handling of that data is subject to Google’s own privacy policy. Alongside it we run Counterscale, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool that records anonymous, aggregate page views and does not identify you. We do not run advertising or third-party ad tracking.
Payments
Membership payments are processed securely by Stripe, our payment processor. When you pay, Stripe handles your card details directly — cardholder data never touches Worthbury’s servers. We receive confirmation of payment and the information needed to fulfil and support your membership.
We use Resend to send transactional email — sign-in links, and payment or status notices related to your application and membership. We do not run a marketing newsletter at launch, so you will not receive marketing email from us.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (for example videos or images). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as if you had visited the other website, and those websites may collect data about you and monitor your interaction with that embedded content.
Who we share your data with
We share data only with the service providers that help us run Worthbury: Stripe (payment processing), Resend (transactional email), Cloudflare (hosting and content delivery), Google (Google Analytics) and Counterscale (cookieless analytics). Each processes data on our behalf under its own terms. We do not sell your personal data.
How long we retain your data
For members who register, we retain the personal information in your profile for as long as your profile is published, and thereafter only as long as needed for administrative, legal or security purposes. You can request deletion of your data at any time.
Your rights over your data
If you have a profile with us, you can request an exported copy of the personal data we hold about you, and you can ask us to erase it. This does not include data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes. Our handling of personal data complies with applicable regulations, including the GDPR and the CCPA.
Where your data is sent
User-submitted profiles and data are reviewed by Worthbury’s team as part of our manual approval process. By submitting your profile or purchasing a membership, you agree to our Terms & Conditions and grant Worthbury the right to use, reproduce, display and monetise your profile content on the website.
