Welcome to Worthbury (“we,” “our,” or “us”), a service operated by mOOnshot digital LLC. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Worthbury website (https://worthbury.com/) and its services, including our professional directory and paid membership features (the “Services”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
1. Purpose of the website
Worthbury is a professional directory for people in the luxury and lifestyle industry. We offer paid membership to enhance visibility and networking opportunities, and we may include selected profiles at our discretion.
2. Eligibility and registration
2.1 Eligibility. Our Services are intended for professionals in the luxury and lifestyle industry. Applicants must submit their profiles for manual review by Worthbury’s team before inclusion in the directory.
2.2 Registration. You may submit as much or as little information as you choose, but all content should focus on professional achievements and experience. Worthbury reserves the right to accept or reject applications at its sole discretion. Accounts use passwordless, magic-link sign-in; we do not store passwords.
3. User-generated content
3.1 Content accuracy. You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate, truthful and professional. Misleading or false information is strictly prohibited.
3.2 Modification of content. You may edit or update your profile at any time. However, all content must adhere to standards of decency and professionalism.
3.3 Community guidelines. Content must not include:
- Offensive, defamatory or discriminatory material.
- Inappropriate or irrelevant content unrelated to professional activities.
3.4 Licence to use content. By submitting content, you grant Worthbury a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, display and monetise the content published on the platform.
4. Paid membership
4.1 Paid features. Paid membership allows you to add a profile and increase your visibility within the directory. Details are available at worthbury.com/membership.
4.2 Payments and refunds. Membership is a one-time payment. There are no subscriptions, renewals or recurring charges, and nothing you can lose by not paying again. Payment is processed securely by Stripe; your card details never reach Worthbury’s servers. Every application is reviewed after payment, and if your application isn’t the right fit for Worthbury, your payment is refunded in full.
5. Intellectual property
5.1 Ownership. Worthbury owns all rights to its branding, logos and proprietary database. Unauthorised reproduction, including by AI scraping tools or other means, is strictly prohibited.
5.2 Licence restrictions. You are prohibited from copying, redistributing or reverse-engineering any part of the Worthbury platform without explicit written consent.
6. Privacy
6.1 Data handling. Our handling of personal data complies with applicable regulations, including the GDPR and the CCPA. For details, please review our Privacy Policy.
6.2 Analytics. We use Google Analytics and a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool (Counterscale) to understand usage of the site. We do not run advertising or third-party ad tracking. See our Privacy Policy for details.
7. Limitations of liability
7.1 Accuracy of information. While we strive to verify the content on our platform, Worthbury is not responsible for inaccuracies or errors in user-provided information.
7.2 No guarantees. Worthbury does not guarantee any business outcomes, connections or opportunities resulting from the use of our Services.
7.3 Indemnity. You agree to indemnify Worthbury against any claims arising from your use of the platform, including disputes related to user-generated content.
8. Content moderation
8.1 Authority. Worthbury retains sole discretion to approve, remove or edit any content published on the platform.
8.2 Right to monetise. Worthbury reserves the right to monetise content published on its website.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Wyoming.
10. Changes to these Terms
Worthbury reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
